Everything on CamonVietnam is general travel information based on my own experience of living in Vietnam and on official sources. It’s meant to help you plan, not to replace professional advice.
Visas and entry rules
Articles about visas, e-visas, visa runs, work permits and residence cards explain how the rules work at the time of writing. They aren’t legal or immigration advice. Vietnam changes its entry rules, and each case depends on your passport and situation. Before you travel, check the official e-visa portal (evisa.gov.vn), your airline and, if needed, the Vietnamese embassy in your country.
Money and prices
Prices, exchange rates, fees and payment methods are given with a date, because they change. Nothing here is financial advice.
Health and safety
Tips about food, water, swimming, motorbikes, weather or vaccines are based on experience, not medical training. Talk to a doctor about your health before the trip, get travel insurance, and follow local warnings, especially red flags on beaches and storm alerts on the central coast.
Activities
Trekking, diving, motorbike trips and boat tours carry real risks. You decide what’s safe for you. Ride only with a valid license and a helmet.

Errors
I fact-check every article and fix mistakes as soon as I find them. If you spot something wrong or out of date, email [email protected] and I’ll check it.
